Financial aid doesn't travel
Most federal financial aid can't be applied to study-abroad programs. Students get stuck at the starting gate.
LGBTQ+ safety is invisible in planning
Standard study-abroad programs don't assess LGBTQ+ safety conditions. Students have to figure it out alone.
Queer community abroad is hard to find
Without a network, isolation sets in. We help students find each other before they land.

We account for every dollar. Publicly.
We are registered on GuideStar (Candid) and file Form 990 annually. Request our IRS Determination Letter or financial documents at finance@wanderingwithpride.org.

Wandering With Pride is in its founding stage — and founding donors are the reason this happens at all. 75% of every donation goes directly to student scholarships. 25% funds the operations that make awarding scholarships possible. This ratio is on par with top-rated nonprofits (Charity Navigator recommends at least 70% to programs). Every gift is tracked and publicly reported. No exceptions.
