Fund a Scholar.
Be the first to do it.
Wandering With Pride hasn't funded any scholars yet. That's exactly why your gift matters right now.
Fund a ScholarThe first donors create a track record. They don't inherit one.
Most scholarships ask you to believe in outcomes you can already see. We're asking you to believe in a program before the first check is written — which means the first donors don't give to a track record. They create one.
Wandering With Pride was built by Michael Eisinger, who managed $17 million in federal grants across 50+ organizations and reviewed $4.5 million in annual grant awards at JFNA's Center for Advancing Holocaust Survivor Care. He drew no salary from WWP while building it. He has personally invested $40,000 before accepting a single external dollar.
The program is structurally sound. The mission is real. The only thing missing is the first funded scholar — and that's a gap you can close today.
What your money does.
Every dollar goes toward a real scholarship for a real student. Here's what specific amounts make possible.
Covers a study-abroad program application fee — the first financial wall a student hits before they've even started.
Covers a U.S. passport, required for international travel, that many first-generation students have never had reason to need.
Covers roughly four to five weeks of living costs during a semester abroad — the difference between a student who is present in the experience and one who is counting every euro.
Covers a partial scholarship — half a semester's program costs for one student, or two full application fees plus incidentals for ten students in the pipeline.
Fully fund one scholarFully funds one scholar's complete study-abroad experience, start to finish. Flight, program fees, housing, living expenses. One student. Everything they need to go. Nothing held back.
Named Scholarship / Cohort SponsorAt this level, your name — or the name of someone you're honoring — attaches to a funded scholar. The first cohort has a limited number of named scholarship positions. After launch, they're filled. Inquire about named positions →
A one-time gift funds a moment. A recurring gift funds a program.
For a startup nonprofit, predictable monthly revenue is the difference between committing to a scholar in January and hoping the money arrives by May. Recurring donors — even at $25 a month — are the foundation that lets us promise scholars their funding is real before they book a flight.
If you're deciding between a one-time gift and a monthly commitment: the recurring version of whatever you're considering is worth more to the program than the number suggests.

What happens next.
- You'll receive a receipt by email within minutes — keep it, it's your tax documentation.
- You'll be added to our donor update list. We send two types of emails: program milestones (application open, scholar selection, first travel) and impact reports as the first cohort takes shape. No newsletters. No campaign asks. Real updates about the program your gift is funding.
- Once the first cohort is selected — by World Pride 2027 — you'll hear from us about who you helped send abroad. Named and cohort-level donors will receive a personal note from the founder.
